It is now our fourth stay at this hotel, and one of our stays was for around 3 months. We initially booked for a short period, but the place is exceptional. It is a family hotel. The family work so well together - it is joy to experience; and they provide a rare service and unique environment. The place is quiet, clean, private, there is a beautiful way to the beach, the main road of the village is two minutes away, and so you have the option of experiencing the local life, there are outstanding Thai restaurants nearby, as well as highly rated restaurants that offer international version of Thai food. There are excellent cafes nearby, including if you wish to work. There is also a local shop just one minute walk away, and supermarkets only around 15 minutes walk away.

My stay at MJ boutique hotel in a Seaview room was exceptional. The views were breathtaking, making every moment in the room a delight. The cleanliness and decor of the room provided a perfect. What truly made my visit memorable was the warmth of the hotel staff. They were attentive and genuinely caring.

Very clean and friendly staff that immediately solves any issues we had, like the clogged drain in the shower. I’ve just mentioned it ones and 30 minutes later everything was well done! Their staff goes above and beyond to make sure that we have a pleasant stay. Being able to access the big water park and kidsclub at their sister’s hotel next door is a huge plus for our family with 3 and 4 years old. Their breakfast has variety of selections and lasts until 11 am. They also serve fresh cold press juice! Our room is very clean, new, and has ocean view. Their beach is very private and has perfect sunset.

Med flere basseng kan man variere litt hvor man ønsker å bade og strandområdet var nydelig. Både frokosten og maten vi bestilte gjennom rom service var god. Personalet var veldig hyggelige og gjorde det lille ekstra for at vi skulle ha et fint opphold. Beliggenheten er perfekt, ca 10 min å gå til hovedgaten i Khao Lak med restauranter, kafeer og butikker.

Great hotel in beautiful location. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. The room was great and very clean. The breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and Thai dishes. The location was a little further away from Khao Lak center than expected but we had the whole beach to ourselves most days. It’s easy to get to the center or Ban Niang market by tuk tuk.

Frokosten var veldig variert og bra. Bassengene mellom bygningene var supre - og det lille med tak nede ved stranden var fint for å barn å leke i samtidig som de ble beskyttet mot sol. Lett tilgang på drikkevann var et pluss. Rommene var fine og rene, Bamseklubben var også popular for fireåringen - det var også mini-disko på kvelden, men koreografien var for komplisert for små barn (som utgjorde flertallet).

This was our second stay in a deluxe bedroom and it was fabulous yet again. Staff are welcoming and ever friendly. The lower pool is our fav, with the swim up bar. Very relaxing with comfy sun beds and plenty of umbrellas. The Leaf is only just a short stroll from the action of khaolak, but is beautifully quiet. It's amazing value for money and we will hopefully return.
