Plenty to do and see within walking distance of the city centre, but great public transport means it's easy to venture a bit further afield. Main reason for Trip was to celebrate the birthday of a Beatles fan. Everything met with her expectations and more. Also the history and culture of the city was enlightening. Thoroughly enjoyed St George's hall tour and Walker museum. Lots we didn't get round to e.g cathedrals, China town. We ate in tiger rock across from hard days night hotel,on two occasions and had a lovely al fresco lunch at Bacaro,they both do the small bowl/plates selections which are excellent. We would order a selection of plates and shared

We went for a match my sons first trip to Liverpool and we will be back again next season. It's a beautiful Citi full of history and culture, plenty of shopping and lost of beautiful places to wine and dine, and of course it has Anfield which is why we went over in the first place for, so easy to get around Liverpool plenty of taxi and bus routes be sure to do the Anfield tour, and the red bus Liverpool City tour the dock area is magnificent we cant wait to return.DavidIreland - 10Scored 10

Hotel is lovely . You can see that it was once a very regal place and is slightly dated but for me that added the history of the hotel and its features . Loved it . The best City I've visited in U.K. So much to see and do. The Western approaches WWII Museum, is a must visit. A couple of hours learning about Luftwaffes bombing targets of Liverpool, The operations room, The Admirals office, the Wrens area and Churchill's bath. Visit the world famous Royal Liver building and take the guided tower tour, the panoramic view across the City, 360degree views are amazing. A great palce for a meal..."Bon Pan Asian Restaurant", Clayton Square, great value for money. The staff are friendly and efficient. Anyone visiting Liverpool must visit "Mathew Street", The Cavern, Erics, and The Grapes. The people of Liverpool are friendly and welcoming.KevinUnited Kingdom

I could not remember the name of his but was very polite and helpful. Quickly have checked us into the hotel. The hotel is presented beautifully in an industrial chic design to reflect its history, presumably as an old tobacco mill or similar. The rooms are absolutely enormous with ample facilities and a superb level of comfort & cleanliness. Will absolutely return as and when opportunity arises.

The location wasn't totally central but it took max 5 minutes to walk to the docks or city centre.
